📄 Job Description

As a Tier 2 Network Administrator, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing CACi’s robust network infrastructure. Your core responsibilities will include:
  • Performing switch and router installations and upgrades to ensure smooth enterprise operations.
  • Executing comprehensive network site surveys and supporting engineering design data calls.
  • Implementing critical system patching and IAVA patches for network routers and switches.
  • Drafting and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for optimal network operations.
  • Conducting approved minor network changes, including VLAN, ACL, and port assignments.
  • Performing IOS and other software upgrades across various network devices.
  • Troubleshooting complex system failures and accessibility problems within the network.
  • Supporting the implementation of new or enhanced network features and technical refresh projects.
  • Working independently with some supervision, showcasing creativity and ingenuity in technical solutions.
  • Functioning as an independent engineering, maintenance, and network problem-solving resource.
  • Performing efficient Network ticket resolution and closure across Network Operations staff.
  • Utilizing administrative access for provisioning new switches, routers, VLANs, and Crypto components.
  • Researching errors, incidents, and problems to conduct root cause analyses and facilitate resolutions.
  • Configuring, deploying, managing, and maintaining monitoring systems to ensure system and service availability.
  • Traveling to other sites as required for essential network engineering and administration activities.

📌 Requirements

We are looking for a highly capable and cleared individual who meets the following criteria:
  • Mandatory: IAT II TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph.
  • Highly Desirable Qualifications:
    • CCNA certification.
    • A Bachelor’s Degree combined with 5+ years of relevant experience in network administration.
  • Key Skills: Proven expertise in Linux, Network Security, Network Administration, Troubleshooting, and Infrastructure management.
