As a Smart Contract & Backend Engineer, you will be a core member of the Magent team, deeply involved in shaping our decentralized financial products. This role requires a blend of smart contract expertise and robust backend development skills. You will:

• Develop and maintain secure, reliable Solana programs in Rust, supporting existing features and future DeFi integrations.
• Build and optimize high-performance backend services using Node.js/TypeScript to facilitate seamless on-chain interactions.
• Collaborate closely with the product team to translate complex business logic into secure and innovative on-chain functionalities and user experiences.
• Actively participate in critical architecture decisions, particularly regarding cross-chain expansion and scalability initiatives.
• Contribute to code reviews, security audits, and continuous performance optimization efforts.

We are looking for a commercially-minded, lateral thinker who thrives in an autonomous startup environment, eager to take oversized ownership. Key qualifications include:

• Strong proficiency in Rust and hands-on experience with Solana program architecture.
• Robust TypeScript and Node.js backend development experience.
