Financial Reporting Manager Job October 2025

As the Manager of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing annual/quarterly financial statements and footnote disclosures (and related supporting schedules and tie-outs) for audit and internal reporting.
• Building out and optimizing the financial reporting process utilizing Workiva WDesk.
• Ensuring comprehensive disclosure requirements are met through detailed checklists.
• Supporting external audit requests throughout the financial statement review process.
• Collaborating with third-party advisors on complex transactions, valuations, and other services.
• Working closely with the Finance team, Legal, operational teams, and senior management on external stakeholder financial communications.
• Continuously organizing, automating, and streamlining financial reporting, technical accounting, and related processes.
• Performing accounting disclosure and technical accounting research, preparing memos, concluding on accounting positions for transactions and new standards, and developing GAAP-compliant accounting policies.
• Assisting in building internal controls for financial reporting and technical accounting processes and ensuring adherence.
• Completing special projects and other assigned duties as needed.

We are looking for a motivated and confident individual eager to contribute to a high-growth Web3 company. Ideal candidates will possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 5-7 years of professional accounting experience.
• CPA license is a must.
• Big Four experience highly desired.
• Strong technical accounting experience highly desired.
• Working knowledge of automated financial and reporting systems (e.g., Workiva WDesk) highly desired.
• Financial reporting experience with a public and/or private company preferred.
• Prior experience with an ERP system (e.g., NetSuite) preferred.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently, while also being collaborative and unafraid to ask questions.
