📄 Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end trade lifecycle processes including capture, confirmation/affirmation, and settlement for spot and derivatives transactions across multiple counterparties operating under ISDA agreements and institutional custodians.
- Perform daily reconciliations covering positions, cash, fees/funding, and realized/unrealized P&L across all trading venues, OTC counterparties, and custodians.
- Coordinate critical cash and collateral activities, including wires, address whitelisting, margin/IM/VM postings, and comprehensive collateral movements/optimization.
- Maintain meticulous books and records, including blotters, audit trails, and checklists, while preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational and performance reporting packs.
- Partner closely with Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Tax teams on journal entries, valuations, accruals, and supporting digital-asset accounting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Apply and evidence robust internal controls, actively supporting both internal and external audits, as well as SOX-relevant requests.
- Track and manage corporate actions and various trade lifecycle events such as expirations/rolls, settlements, and fee schedules.
- Contribute to ongoing procedure development and process improvement initiatives, diligently documenting and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and control checklists.
- Liaise effectively with counterparties, custodians, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely settlement and reporting.
- Demonstrate professionalism, respect, strong communication, and the ability to excel in a team-oriented, high-performance environment.
📌 Requirements
- 3-6 years of professional experience in trade operations, treasury operations, or middle office roles within crypto, FX, equities, commodities, or derivatives sectors at an exchange, prime broker, fund/admin, prop desk, or public-company treasury.
- Demonstrated proficiency in executing daily reconciliations (positions, cash, P&L) and managing the complete trade lifecycle from ticket issuance to ledger entry.
- A solid working knowledge of derivatives (forwards/futures/options), margin, and collateral flows, along with familiarity with ISDA-based counterparty processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with large data sets for analysis and reporting.
- Strong written documentation skills for creating SOPs and runbooks, coupled with clear, concise communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven ability to maintain accuracy and meet stringent deadlines in a fast-paced environment, displaying sound judgment and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Willingness to provide after-hours or weekend support as required by settlements, expiries, or other critical operational demands.
- Experience with digital-asset infrastructure, including institutional custodians, wallets, and exchange/OTC settlement platforms.
- Familiarity with U.S. GAAP for digital assets and understanding of their related financial statement impacts.
- Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python) or SQL for supporting reconciliation automation and data validation efforts.
- Experience supporting audit/SOX requests and operating effectively within a public-company control environment.
- Exposure to desk reporting (daily positions, P&L, exposure/greeks) and standard operations tooling (ticketing/documentation platforms).
